Developing Market Areas Demographic market areas are analyzed to determine the number of units
each area can reasonably support. Summit Management Group, along with our Client, will identify trade
areas within the market areas then qualify, select and prioritize areas for unit development.
Development schedules will be created based upon this analysis.

Real Estate Development
Summit Management Group will help develop a real estate process that will aid the Client, their area
developers and franchisees in site selection. Summit Management Group can create a system to
evaluate each location so that there is a consistent process by which sites are reviewed and approved
or rejected. The real estate system will establish a consistent leasing program that can aid in
negotiating, monitoring and tracking the lease approval process.
- Create and maintain electronic market maps
- Create and manage the Site Approval process
- Create and manage the Letter of Intent process
- Qualify local real estate teams
- Create site qualification standards
- Train local real estate teams in Client’s store development procedures
- Track and record the designation of franchisees to specific trade areas
Program Management
- Management coordination between the Client’s marketing activities, franchise sales activities, and store development activities
- Provide summary of all development activities via Summit’s Real-Time Online Database
